In Sims 4, cheat codes are a great way to assist with your builds, including making them look more aesthetic and bringing a stronger sense of realism to them. To use cheat codes, though, the cheats console must be opened up first. To do this, select CTRL – SHIFT – C at the same time. (PC)
Let's learn all the cheats! This guide teaches everything you need to know to use cheats in The Sims 4. We go through money cheats, career and skill levels.
Cheats & Outcomes

bb.moveobjects – Place items in places that the game would not usually allow. You can place things together and even have them touching directly. With this cheat, you can combine two smaller sized tables and connect them to make one more giant table or combine two chairs to make one big sofa. This cheat can impact the ability to use part of all of the items that have been combined, or cause strange visuals.
bb.showhiddenobjects – Allows you to use things that you can’t usually buy. Essentially, it adds extra objects to your game, like lights or plants, for example.
bb.showliveeditobjects – Unlocks more than 1000 additional world objects to the game. Be sure to use the ‘bb.showhiddenobjects’ cheat to see the different items before use.
bb.ignoregameplayunlocksentitlement – Unlocks all of the career rewards.
bb.enablefreebuild – Edit buildings that are typically not editable on their own.
Shift + ] and Shift + [ – Increase or decrease the size of objects.
Click roof and use Shift + C – Offers options to manipulate desired roofs.

Before that, the June patch for The Sims 4 will bring a huge overhaul to several facets of gameplay. From adding ladders to the return of some much-loved NPCs like fire fighters and the ability to place windows and doors in build mode without being forced to stick to a grid.
There might be further surprise updates coming with the Sims 4 June patch, too. Or so we hope anyway. Global community manager Sim Guru Frost recently said the team is constantly “thinking about burglars” in the Sims 4, but was at pains to stress that he’s not suggesting anything.
Cars have been a much-requested feature in The Sims 4 and some Simmers hope that the June 2020 patch will include them as a surprise – especially after the trailer for the new Sims 4 Eco Lifestyle expansion featured quite a lot of them.
Much of the gameplay around the new Eco Lifestyle expansion pack centres around clearing worlds of pollution. But there’s not all that many things in The Sims 4 that create pollution.
The Sims 4 Eco Lifestyle expansion pack will add an Eco Footprint UI to the game, where every decision Sims make impact the world around them. But with no cars driving around in The Sims 4, many have wondered what will lead to all the smog and pollution. The eco-living gameplay will work across all worlds in The Sims 4, so maybe there’s hope.
But even if cars do not come to a base game update in The Sims 4 soon, there is a way to add them to your game without using mods.
Don’t get us wrong, there are some amazing mod creators out there. But not everyone wants to play that way.
If you want to add cars to The Sims 4 base game without using mods, you can do so by diving into the world of debug cheats.
The cars in The Sims 4 won’t be drivable, but they are useful as décor items if you want to build a garage all cluttered up. Or if you want to build a scrap yard, for example.

Now that you’ve enabled cheats, you can use the search bar to find them. They aren’t named “cars” – as you can see form the screenshots. Searching for ** DEBUG ** will make the process easier.

Different expansion and game packs add different types of cars to The Sims 4, but the base game has a good selection, too.

This might not be quite the same as having drive-able cars in The Sims 4, but if you’re looking for some decorative objects to add to your builds or as a subtle way to add to your gameplay storylines, it’s an alternative to getting cars in The Sims 4 without using mods.
